A Few Words About Us
TradeSmart University was founded for the purpose of making the seemingly complex issues
of stock market trading accessible to anybody with a desire to learn. It is our mission to create the most
accessible, easy-to-understand, comprehensive trading education on the planet. Training is conducted
through Online Seminars (webinars) and consists of a complete, holistic approach to stock trading.
Students love the light, fun environment through which the stock market is presented and comment
often on the entertaining aspects of the class structure.
One of the features of the
TradeSmart Learning System is the concept of interval recall, a learning technique commonly used in
foreign language education. By using interval recall students learn difficult topics in small chunks and
move forward to the next topic. Then the student is led back to the original topic and builds upon the
former pieces of information. This learning system allows students to easily move through traditionally
difficult material while increasing comprehension. Students are consistently surprised to realize how much
they have learned without getting lost in the depth of the material. The success of TradeSmart University
students speaks to the effectiveness of the learning system.
Our Leadership
Jeremy Whaley
Co-founder and CEO of TradeSmart University
Jeremy began trading in 1998 at the suggestion of a friend’s distant uncle. He spent the first few years of his adult life working as a professional studio musician in Nashville TN during which time he owned and operated a professional recording studio. After producing over 100 albums Jeremy decided it was time to focus on generating more passive forms of income and turned his attention back towards his other love, the world of trading. Jeremy is currently an associated Member Affiliate with the Market Technicians Association and will soon be a Chartered Market Technician (it’s a looooong process). He is a recognized expert author on ezinearticles.com. And contributes regularly to several financial internet websites and forums. Jeremy’s report “How To Retire in One Year With Only $10,000″ has circled the globe and been distributed to over 50,000 individuals. He is also the primary developer of course curriculum for TradeSmart University and is currently the primary instructor. In this role Jeremy has trained thousands of individuals from more than 30 different countries how to trade the stock market for consistent profits.
Joshua Hesse
Co-founder and COO of TradeSmart University
A music major in college, Josh (as he’s called by his friends) quickly realized he was built for business ownership not the music business. After starting his first business Josh went to work in management for the Gaylord Corporation. He left there in 2008 content to trade for a living and soon after started TradeSmart University with his business partner Jeremy. During his time at TradeSmart University Josh has co-developed all of the educational products which are used every day in training students from around the world. Josh is an active trader and also an associated Member Affiliate with the Market Technicians Association. He is a very active coach for private investors and enjoys the personal one-on-one connection with his private students. Currently, Josh serves as one of the primary teachers for the weekly Power Trader LIVE sessions and moderates many of the Foundations of Stocks and Options classes. Balancing life between being a trader and a father, you’ll often find him enjoying time with his wife and children while volunteering at their local church.
Albert Kiteck
Director of Technology at TradeSmart University
Albert Kiteck is a widely recognized marketer, technology consultant, brand designer, and IT systems developer. Having consulted with national public companies around the US, Albert's ability to help develop technology systems and solutions have helped companies reach to their full potential. Albert currently lives in Nashville, TN .
Shaun Buchhaulter
Director of Operations
A native New Yorker, Shaun graduated college from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Shaun spent his first 10 years after college working in the non-profit sector with a focus on project management and leadership development. During those ten years he lived in San Francisco, Chicago and lastly Manhattan before moving to Nashville in the winter of 2011. Shaun currently serves the students of TradeSmart University as the Director of Operations.
